Greetings!
Some of you may remember me as Woutje Herrick. My last name is now Swets. A lot has happened: I lived in Alaska for five years, near Lake Tahoe for four years and in between I spent a lot of time in Amsterdam, the Netherlands where my daughter Kalai was living for many years. She and her family now live in Corralitos. My son Colin married his Dara, also a Santa Cruz native, and they live nearby as well. Lucky me!

I had a great time traveling, but got homesick for my family, my friends and my house, and I am here to stay!
I first got my Real Estate license in 1969 when I lived in Hawaii. During the next 40+ years my experience has ranged from Realtor, remodeler, property manager, working for the Affordable Housing Program of the City of Santa Cruz, to Real Estate developer.

In renewing my Real Estate career, I decided to join VANGUARD REALTORS. And as time marches on, so do I. My broker at Vanguard Realtors has retired and I have joined Miritz Real Estate. It is an office with dedicated realtors. The Miritz Team is experienced in all aspects of residential real estate, with full time agents. It participates in REInfolink Service which covers Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, San Benito and Monterey Counties. In addition it is affiliated with the East Bay Association of Realtors MLS service which covers Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, and we also work in the Tahoe area.
